Lower Sturdy Pile with several signs of wear, including some color bleeding near the hot pink tones and small blemishes on some of the knots, these do not impact the integrity of the rug. This is a nomadic design rug with animal iconography including camel and several birds, amazing color combinations and designs and truly very rare to find. Has a nickel sized blemish on the backside of the rug that we were careful not to remove as it remained during it's professional cleaning and removing it may compromise the integrity of the fibers (likely tar.)
