Soft Medium-High Pile, was once a longer runner and has since had a portion of the middle removed to shorten. If you look close enough you can tell where the repair is in the design, but this is not an obvious change to the rug. It was an excellent rug modification that does not impact the integrity of the rug. Love the hot pink and blues orange centers.

Rotating your rug may help prevent concentrated wear on your rug or fading on areas exposed to sun.
